Serving isn't just about filling a role — it's about loving people and joining Jesus in His mission.
We don't just attend church—we help build it.
God has given each of us gifts to strengthen His family. Every role matters. As we serve together, the church grows stronger and more people encounter Jesus.
Below is the serving opportunities in our Sunday gatherings that you can get involved in.
Welcome Team
Help people feel seen, valued, and at home from the moment they arrive. Whether greeting at the door, or chatting with newcomers, you'll help create a welcoming environment where people can encounter Jesus and belong.
Set Up/Down Team
Help transform our venue into a welcoming space for worship each week. From setting out chairs to preparing children's areas and packing away afterwards, your practical service makes Sunday gatherings possible.
Refreshments Team
Help create a warm and welcoming environment by preparing and serving refreshments. A simple cup of tea can help people feel at home, build friendships, and connect with the church family.
Children's & Youth Team
Invest in the next generation by helping children and young people discover Jesus, grow in faith, and build meaningful friendships. You'll play a vital role in helping young people thrive while supporting families within our church.
Music Team
Use your musical gifts to help lead the church in worship and respond to God together. Through music, song, and creativity, you'll help create space for people to encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.
Tech Team
Support our gatherings behind the scenes by helping with sound, screens, and presentation. Your service helps create a distraction-free environment where people can engage with worship, prayer, and God's Word.
Media Team
Help share the story of what God is doing at Trinity. Whether taking photos, recording sermons, or creating content for social media, you'll help celebrate church life and make Jesus known to people both inside and outside the church.
God has called us to love our neighbours in practical ways. As we serve our town, care for those in need, and build meaningful relationships, we help people experience the love of Jesus.
Below are some of the ways you can get involved in serving our community.
Little Lights (Parent, Baby & Toddler Group) - Monday Mornings, 9:00 - 11:30am, Term times only
Help create a welcoming space for parents, carers, babies, and toddlers. Whether you're making refreshments, setting up, playing with children, or chatting with families, you'll help build friendships, show the love of Jesus, and support families in our community.
English Conversation Classes - Wednesdays, 10:30–11:30am (Not run all year)
Help international people in our town grow in confidence as they learn English. By offering conversation, encouragement, and friendship, you'll help people feel welcomed, supported, and connected within our community.
Youth Club - Friday Evenings, 6:30 - 8:30pm, Term times only
Invest in the next generation by building relationships with young people in our church and wider community. Whether you're joining in games, activities, conversations, or simply being present, you'll help create a safe, fun environment where young people can belong, thrive, and encounter Jesus.
Good News Saturdays - Saturdays, 10:30am - 12pm, (Once a month)
Join us as we take the good news of Jesus into the heart of our town. Through worship, testimonies, prayer, conversations, and sharing the gospel, we seek to make Jesus known and invite others to discover the hope found in Him. Whether you're confident talking with people or simply willing to pray and encourage, there's a place for everyone to get involved.
